Kinesiology Learning

The Tao Energetic Workshops are based on the synthesis of two disparate, yet equally powerful modalities. The workshops bring together the modern natural healing system of Kinesiology, and specifically the tools of acupressure formatting and holograms, with the extraordinary richness of the Classic Chinese Medicine systems.

The work of Hugo Tobar is an amazing collection of acupressure formats, built upon the work of Richard Utt and Charles Krebs. For Kinesiologists, who work with acupressure formatting, Tobar’s oeuvre provides a library of formats that is breath-taking in its depth and vastness. It not only provides energetic language for the structure and function of the physical body, but also for more subtle and non-tangible states of being. We are given the energetic vocabulary to ask very specific questions about the experience of being human on all levels and dimensions.

The other half to the Tao Energetic workshops story is Classic Chinese Medicine, as championed and practiced by the world leading expert, Jeffrey Yuen. Yuen is an 88th generation Taoist priest from the Jade Purity School and a 26th generation Taoist Master of the Complete Reality Dragon Gate School. His story and achievements are stunning in themselves. For brevity’s sake, he is internationally recognised as a Master of Acupuncture, Classic Chinese Medicine, Taoism, Chinese Herbology, Tai Chi Chuan, and Chi Gung. He approaches health and wellbeing from a deeply spiritual perspective, rooted in an understanding of Taoism as he has lived it throughout his life.

In these workshops, Yuen’s interpretation of Classic Chinese Medicine forms the philosophical and energetic scaffolding for Kinesiology to navigate. Kinesiologists, versed in acupressure formatting, can form exquisite questions that utilise the rich metaphors present in the Chinese healing system. An acupressure format allows us to challenge the organisation of information flow relative to a specific targeted area. However, placed within the context of the Classic Chinese Medicine systems, these formatted questions take on a whole new level of depth and meaning. These workshops map the patterns of resonance between the two systems, modern and ancient, and therein lays their power.

“You can have all the tools in the world, but if you don’t genuinely believe in yourself, it’s useless.”

- Ken Jeong
