TAO Energetics

“Man is a tool-using animal. Without tools he is nothing, with tools he is all.”

- Thomas Carlyle

Tao Energetics is the term coined to describe a body of work based on the philosophies of Classic Chinese Medicine (CCM). This work is designed to nurture health and wellbeing, and to foster personal growth and development.

The core of the work was developed within the context of Energetic Kinesiology. This contemporary modality uses feedback from the central nervous system (via muscle monitoring) to identify and correct imbalances in the individual’s energetic structures. The CCM philosophies were used as a framework for the balances in a number of advanced Kinesiology workshops. However, the underlying concepts of CCM have the potential for creative application, beyond just Kinesiology.

The pyscho-emotional themes within each of the secondary channels of CCM have been compiled into 4 manuals; Muscle Meridians, Connecting Channels, Divergent Channels, and 8 Extraordinary Meridians. These manuals are a valuable resource to anyone interested in emotional work, and particularly, those exploring emotions within the context of the physical body and its function. There are exciting possibilities with this work to form creative perspectives and develop new processes that enhance human potential.
