Frequently Asked Questions

What should I wear?

Your kinesiologist may ask you to move various muscles of your body (e.g. neck, arms and leg) during your session.  It would therefore be helpful if you wear clothes that are comfortable and appropriate.

Can I cancel my booking on short notice?

We require notice of cancellation at least 24 hours before your booked session, otherwise, full consultation fees will apply.

Can kinesiology help a young child?

Absolutely. We recommend that a parent or the prime caregiver familiar with the condition of the child participates in the session.

Does it matter if I am taking medication or undergoing other treatments or therapies?

Please let your kinesiologist know what medication you are taking or other treatment or therapies that you are undergoing. Your kinesiologist's awareness of your medical history can be beneficial to your session.

How many sessions will I need?

Depending on the depth and complexity of the issue, your body's response to the process, and the circumstances of your daily life and environment, the number of sessions required will vary from person to person. Some people experience quick and dramatic improvement, while others require a more gradual process. Either way, some significant benefit can often be noticed within a couple of sessions. There are also clients who recognise that prevention is better than cure, and choose to have regular, ongoing kinesiology sessions as a way of maintaining long-term health and well-being.

Are kinesiologists regulated in Hong Kong?

Hong Kong does not have a registration system for kinesiologists, unlike certain other jurisdictions, such as Australia, U.S.A and some countries in Europe. However, our kinesiologists abide by a Code of Ethics, Code of Conduct and Code of Practice based on that which is published by the Australia Kinesiology Association.
